It has been a rough 7 days. Starting Last Friday 2 Major Storms hit Tallahassee, Florida.
Most of the area was without power for a couple of days.
Today I completed my storm cleanup and delivered the last of the emergency supplies to those on my list.
Everyone is safe and recovery had begun.
Thanks to all who helped, get some rest and family time when you can.

It does not really matter where you are in Florida or the SE United States you are subject to the weather and power / internet failure even with triple redundant systems.
I just lost a nice post for this website when went to post it and the Internet blinked. Then the power blinked. Now its raining.
In 15 minutes the sun will be out again. Crazy Summer Weather!

    #solaronemonolithicdatacenter to receive Solar Upgrade.

800 Watt Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panels will replace the 200 Watt Flexible Solar Panels in use currently.

Two of the New 800 Watt Solar Panels equals 1,600 watts. When we started this project 1 panel was equal to 60 or 100 Watts.
Level II solar was 3 years ago one panel equals 200 Watts.
Level III - now, 800 Watts per panel

Note: After almost 4 years of use, and testing, the 200 watt solar panels are still great - they will get reassigned to a different solar power project.

Excellent Progress!! More power for less money and requiring less space than ever before.

Unlike Google and so many others Computer Dudes WILL NOT scan or root your website without your request.

We may visit - but just to your website to review your current posts and other information. We do not catalog it or record it - in our point of view, is a violation of both good taste AND ethics to scan and record the online presence of any individual or company.

Yes we understand that is not a standard used often in 2024, but it is our Standard since 1997 and we shall keep it that way.

At 3 years online - the Gordo Computer Core system is being re-evaluate and reduced slightly in size. Then we will order 12 sets.

The Gordo Computer core as the name suggests in Spanish, is Round.
Two Round Platters held together by 5 to 12 Cards. Each Card holds a Computer.

The Single Board Computers we use include ARM, Intel, AMD and other chipsets.

The Raspberry Pi 4B+ with 12 GB DDR4 RAM are still our favorite.

The Gordo Core system makes new builds and repairs VERY easy, and most of the computers- on the cards, are Hot Swappable
    resulting inZ ero Downtown.

An internal Back-Plane connects all computers in the Gordo Core.

The design is for Outdoor Computer Servers, Aircraft, and Spacecraft.

One can "pull" this computer core and replace parts - even in zero-g in a spacesuit.

The power system is custom DC voltages.

CenturyLink Data Services and Business Services to be Fired for Contract Breach tomorrow morning.

They can't even pretend to support their products here in Tallahassee.

The problem isnt the local CenturyLink techs and engineers - its the COMPANY and their poor quality equipment.

The local CenturyLink techs and engineers cannot get "anyone" on the phones either at their own company!

So CenturyLink gets fired. See how easy that was? :)T

Android Team Awareness Kit - ATAK

Simulated "Ground Forest Fire Patrol" from Vehicle. I traveled to TLH, and back through the Apalachicola National Forest, by the National Forest Shooting Range, 2 Forestry Stations, 3 parks - On-Road and Off (4WD).

Then back to the Shop and our #solaronedatacenter off Tom Roberts Road just South of Tallahassee.

    Tracking and Telemetry looks good.

Spotty Cell Phone Coverage in the area is a challenge but if we had multiple drones aloft looking for fires the data could be relayed through them.

No fires, wrecks, EMS, or Law Enforcement closures noted.

Met several locals and made a few new friends. :)T

Most areas have a website or weather app that also tracks fires.

There were a few planned burns in the Tallahassee Area but no Forest Fires or out of control fires here today.
