Welcome!! 2021 has been a good year. Time for a preview of 2022.

In 2021, The Computer Dudes, Inc. finished design and established production of our #SolarOneMonolith series of Granite Cluster-Type Supercomputers powered entirely by the Sun and 100% off-grid, if the client wants.

The Monolithic Supercomputers are designed around a custom Modular Computer Core  we named "Gordo".   Each Gordo Core holds from 8 to 48 small form factor, low voltage computers.  The systems are preconfigured to client specifications.    Our current production level is 2 Monoliths per week.

In 2022, we will be rolling out versions of the Monoliths running VMware.   We will continue to expand our Monolithic Data Center - now Online with a total of 5 monoliths.    We will also be rolling out new products such as the "Dark Monolith" - which generates electricity and several hybrid data center designs.

Our research has swung away from Clouds - back to Hardware Clustering and Virtualization to create safe networks for individuals, companies, and even the global corporations.

The Sentinel - Monolithic, Off-Grid, Clustertype Solar Powered Supercomputer for use Outdoors for 100+ years.

on 22 Nov 2021  Posted by Administrator  Category: Technology  Comments: 0

Our flagship product for 2022 is the new "Sentinel" monolith containing our Gordo8 scalable core system  #solaronemonolith.

Four Sentinels, with their basic configuration = a 32 computer Data Center.   A data center with no power bill.   A data center with no building.  A data center controlled or accessed by any Internet Device.
Most importantly a Data Center with no emissions built to last 100 years (with replacement parts)

The Sentinel's functions are included but not limited to:

  • Web, Streaming Media, Database, Servers
  • Offsite Backup Servers
  • Scalable Servers
  • Sensor Platforms
  • Farm or Well Controls
  • Observatories
  • History and Science Archives
  • Sun Dials
  • Relay Stations
  • Emergency Aid Stations
  • SatCom Stations
  • Video Phones
  • Atmospheric and Weather Equipment and Servers

These are not plans or dreams, but products we are producing.    Find the article on the Gordo-8 to get further information, configuration and pricing.

The 3 Keys to Safe Social Media - Including: Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and all the rest. :)

CDudes_JPG_Logo_for_Art_2020.jpg

The problem with Facebook and other Social Media is not the Algorithm, the extremists, or the hackers - it is the Lack of a "KEYs. "

Three KEYs are needed: better Architecture, better Filters, and a new type of KEY, we will call a "Facts Table." (more on that below)

First Key is better Architecture.

Second Key is better Filters

Third Key is to create a "Facts Table"

A facts table, to let those undecided see both sides; minus the falsehoods or political spin. To appeal to both sides and let everyone cool off with a little reality.  This "Third Key," a "Facts Table," briefly expresses both sides of an argument, or topic, or keyword: but is filtered for spin and misrepresentations.

The 3 Keys to safe, secure, social media in 2021.

Gordo-8: A Systems and Pricing Review

The Computer Dudes, Inc's research on Single Board Computers, SBC's, began in the 1990s.   SBC's use very little electricity.  In the 1990s SBC's were only used for traffic signs and such.  The first SBC Computer Dudes used was a 80846.

For the last 3 years we have developed and are in production with the Gordo-8 and Gordo-12 Series.   The number beside the name indicates how many computers are in the cluster.
The Gordo Series uses a round core which allows for many motherboards to be run in a cluster or as separate servers.

Gordo-8 Base Configuration

Node Zero: Control Node
Node One: Apache Server
Node Two:  Samba 4 Server with 1 Tb SSD, USB 3.1
Node Three:  Samba Node (controlled by Samba4 Server)
Node Four: Raspberrian Server or Workstation
Node Five: Backup Server for Files, Data and Video
Node Six:  CUPS / Print Server
Node Seven:  Routing and Security Server

Base Pricing

Gordo-8 Monolithic Solar:  $9,750

Gordo-8 Standard plug in / indoor version:  $5,750

We are cleaning up some databases and email servers this month.
If you have trouble getting to a page or database or project please let us know immediately.

We do keep backups for several years so no worries if something got moved or permissions are set wrong.

Working on Monolithic power systems this week. We found some high capacity batteries that are good down to Zero Degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees below freezing).

We are timing the time for full solar charge with different configurations of solar panels. :)T

Download Link for Raspberry Pi OS 64 Bit Here: https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspios_arm64/images/raspios_arm64-2021-11-08/

The Raspberry Pi Imager version 1.6.2 supports a Ubuntu 64 Bit version you may select in the Operating System window too.

Make a note of it. :)T

AARM64 / AArch64 boosts the Raspberry Pi 4B series ultra-fast, ultra-portable, and ultralowpower consumption.
We may offer a line of AARM64 based workstations and server that run off a phone battery pack or portable solar panel.
It runs on a 5 V USB C type power connector, allowing its use anywhere for long periods of time. :)T

Our latest Data Center design for Indoor Data Centers looks like a giant box of colored pencils or a rack of test tubes with tapered angular tops.

The rest of the design is modular including the power, fiber, copper and wifi hookups.

This form uses the shape of the land and the recapture of waste heat to achieve maximum efficiency.

Maximum efficiency = FAR LESS power use than the competition regardless of computer architecture, design and function.

These are designs for an Enterprise Level Data Center the Size of a small factory to larger than a football stadium - and its all modular, including the building.

As our motto says and has said since 1997 "Nothing is Impossible."

One Mile WiFi extension kits - Off the Shelf Kit.

We do custom WiFi Extensions and Networks, including off grid networking, wifi, and repeaters.

https://simplewifi.com/products/wifi-repeater

This is not our product but is one we can use with our Monolithic Supercomputer or Large Campus Type corporate, government or university setups.

We can put data on just about any carrier wave too, regardless of frequency and with the correct antenna types. - Thomas Riker, Engineer, SE United States.

Research Group 31A created.
This group will work on an Astogation and Navigation version of the RPI 4Bs. This will be for spacecraft and aerospace mostly. They can also be used as backup computers if the aircraft or computers all fail or lose power.

Want to join the group and work with me? Just let me know. Thanks - Todd

Research Group 16C - Reports "low energy plasma" electricity transfer test set 2, is complete, and shows superconductor properties exist in this type and level of energy transfer. Excellent work!

This project is a subset of: ITER, the International Fusion Project - superconductor options and research, for Tokamak based fusion. :)T
