The Cloud Failed. "I came to bury it, not praise it." The solution to hacking and ransomware is - Virtualization and Hardware Based clustering.

The Cloud FAILED and is now an Obsolete Architecture.    You can quote me on that if you like:  Todd W. Byars,  July 1, 2021

All Clouds should be replaced immediately with a hardware based solutions and FULL Virtualization.   Modern, real time, incremental backups are recommended too.

How to Implement a Switch from Clouds to Hardware Clusters running full Virtualization:

  • Create Transition Plan to move from Clouds to Hardware Clusters.    VMware is our primary recommendation.  VMware in Command Line Interface, CLI, without all the GUI controls, gauges and services.
  • Select Micro-ITX or smaller motherboard computers that run cool or even fanlessly. Select Linux Load (preferred) or Windows Load or Other Load Procedure
  • Build Hardware, Setup and Test with Dummy Loads and Dummy Database.  After burn in and load testing run your pentesting and QA
  • Migrate Data to new Hardware Based Clustering.
  • Test, Run Live, Stress Test, PenTest and verify those backups.
  • Turn Clouds Off.

This problem is LARGE and GLOBAL.  So, The Computer Dudes, Inc and I, once again, GIVE you the procedure to use and share.

It is for everyone, everywhere, including our competition who we consider as brothers and sisters in IT rather than competition.  So PLEASE SHARE!

Who's your pal?  ;)  Todd

Today we were studying long-term Solar and Weather Damage to our outdoor supercomputers of the #solaronemonolith class.

No system failures. No Core failures.

Much heavier damage to semi-clear plastic covers of the battery compartment were discovered.
AEFlorida (our engineering group) already designed a replacement made with glass, steel, stone. or carbon fiber. :)T

Our Solar Engineering Team has come up with 2 configurations of "Solar Tower" for power generation.
Low Cost mounting and setup. High weather and wind resistance. Go Dudes! :)T

Our #solaronemonolith and the worlds first Monolithic Off-Grid Solar Data Center have become a minor attraction here just South of Tallahassee, Florida.
The Granite Monoliths are quite beautiful in the Sun or at Night. People drive by slowly or stop on the street out front to take a look several times a day.
We put signs on the fence next to the road explaining the project and listing some of the technical specs.
Good Job Computer Dudes! :)T

Hey! This is Todd.

I am still on medical restriction from working for a month or so as I recover from my open heart surgery about 2 weeks ago.

It is slow going and painful but I am making progress every day and the medical people are sending 2 nurses by my house each week - one for case managment and one for physical therapy.

I am under orders not to lift anything weighing more than 10 lbs.

Thanks for everyones concern and all the kind note, emails and discussions on LinkedIn.

More soon. Thanks - Todd

Hi, I am Thomas Riker, I am an engineer out of New Orleans helping cover the SE United States with Computer Dudes products and services.

As many of you are aware our Founder and the inventor of the #solaronemonolith recently had chest pains and went to the Hospital. Todd is out of the Hospital now but must return for Open Heart Surgery next week or the following week.

Todd transferred command of Computer Dudes to me this morning.

He plans to return in 6 to 12 weeks. Until then the rest of the Computer Dudes and their engineers will continue operations normally.

You have my word on this. :)

War or No War.
All our clients are STILL secure.
All backups done and in storage.
Good Job Dudes!

Network and Workstation Virtualization Starts Here:

https://www.vmware.com/topics/glossary/content/network-virtualization.html

Use "Baremetal" Servers with No Clouds or Command Consoles for most secure operation

Google P2V for more info. :)T

ALERT: As our confidence in Windows Operating Systems continues to decline we would like to advise all our friends and clients to P2V any critical Windows Systems that they have online or in critical systems and servers.

Virtualization allows safe operation and quick restoration of any computers that fail.

Virtualized systems can be kept safe and monitored externally in real time behind your companies routers and DMZ.

Virtualized Systems on local servers with offsite data center backup and redundant backups.

Cellular or WiFi Data can be less Expensive than a Satellite Link for remote projects and Data Centers.

We have several versions of Cellular Data available for our #solaronemonolith products and outdoor off-grid data centers.

https://sixfab.com/hardware/

Why should Data Centers have ANY power bill or even a building with this level of technology? ;)

Regards,
Todd W. Byars
